Kievit Scientific Continues U.S. Market Expansion Support for City of Kobe Life Science Startups in 2026

Kievit Scientific LLC has entered into a 2026 agreement with the City of Kobe to continue supporting Japanese life science startups expanding into the U.S. market.

For the second consecutive year, Kievit Scientific will provide hands-on support in the United States, leveraging its network across the U.S. East Coast, particularly in the Philadelphia life science ecosystem.

The program will support participating startups based on their individual U.S. market objectives, current status, business challenges, and organizational readiness. Support may include identifying and connecting companies with KOLs, FDA and regulatory consultants, research collaborators, and potential business partners.

Based on lessons learned and challenges identified through last year’s program, the 2026 support model has been further updated to focus on practical execution. Rather than simply providing information about the U.S. market, the program is designed to help each company take concrete next steps toward market entry.

A key objective is also to help participating startups build the capabilities and relationships needed to continue their U.S. activities independently after the support period ends.

Kievit Scientific will continue to apply its U.S. life science network and local market experience to help Japanese startups move from planning to execution in the U.S. market.
